Acoustic/open mic night

Last night, 5th Jan at the backpackers bar we hosted an open mic, acoustic night and had a blast!

there was a wonderful turn out of some great musicians. A big thank you to all of them.

The first weekend of 2013!

Happy new year everybody. hope that you have all recover!

This saturday we are having ourselfs yet another live music night. a cool, laid back and chilled out acoustic night. and if you too are a musician, it is an open mic night also so feel free to grab the guitar and have yourself a blast!.

following the musical entertainment of some rather great local musicans we have two great hosts taking people out on one of our wild pub crawls!!!!! Dagny and Ingi will be painting the town red and invite you all to come along. you need to sign up at the backpackers bar and pay 1000isk. this gives you the power to not have to stand in line at the bars that you will be taken too and aslo gets you some great discounts on drinks in the bars!!!!! 

hope you will all be stopping by if not to go on the pub crawl then to just chll out and listen to some music and maybe even take.

2013 is almost here!

A new year is almost here

It has been quite a year for Reykjavik backpackers filled with many great memories.

the winter had the most snow since 1983.....

the summer brought with it great weather, BBQ´s and the grand opening of our climbing wall.....

we had some great parties! and wild nights........

Autumn brought with it our famous Halloween party........

and ofcourse, Iceland Airwaves 2012!!.....

All the staff here at Reykjavik backpackers hope that if you have been with us this year, that you enjoyed your time with us and would like to thank each and everyone of our guests from 2012 for the memories.

we hope that if you are returning or infact coming for the first time that you will be with us in 2013!! LOTS of big things happening here next year so stay tuned!!
